When does the school year start?

Our school year follows the national school calendar, typically starting in mid-January and ending in early December. We have four terms with school holidays in between.

What are the school hours and attendance policy?

School hours are from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Learners are required to attend school daily and arrive before the commencement of the first period. Any absence must be substantiated by a written explanation or medical certificate from a parent/guardian. Persistent late arrivals or unexcused absenteeism will result in a formal report to the parents and potential disciplinary review. The school office is open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for enquiries and administrative matters.

Do you offer after-care or remedial services?

The school offers remedial lessons for learners who need additional support. Foundation Phase learners attend from 13h10 to 14h05, Monday to Thursday. Intermediate and Senior Phase learners attend on Wednesdays from 12h00 to 14h05.

What is your learner-to-teacher ratio?

We have 274 learners and 14 dedicated staff members across two campuses, with a maximum of 36 learners per class. This ensures each child receives adequate attention and support. Our school has 11 well-equipped classrooms. Learners must maintain a high level of respect for educators, support staff, and peers.

Is there a school uniform?

Yes, our school uniform reflects pride, discipline and unity. Uniforms are available for purchase directly at the school. Uniforms must be clean, pressed, and in good repair.
